I think it would be extremely tough to get bigger tires on these vehicles without modifying the fenders and bumpers drastically. The front to back dimension is too tight and there isn't much room if any to make that dimension larger.
Anyone come up with a solution for keeping things from sliding when sitting on the cargo management shelf?
Also, isn't it annoying that there are no grooves built into the rubber mat that align with the cargo management when vertical?
for those that did a 4pin to 7 pin conversion, what gauge of wire and fuse size did you use?
I've seen sites that recommend 10 gauge and either 30 watt or 40 watt, but 10 gauge isn't even rated for 40 watts. I think I am going to do 10 and 30.
Unfortunately the recall doesn't fix the issue.
I had the recall done 2 weeks ago.
Driving yesterday, I came to a stop and the Bronco just died. Had to pull the rip chord to get it off to the side. Luckily switching out the battery and it was running again.
Original battery was reading 2.5 volts.
So, what us the fix when your car has shut down from this? I slowed to a stop and I heard a pop and everything shut off. Absolutely nothing works. Battery reads 2.5 amps. Will a battery replacement fix it or did I blow a fuse or does a computer need to be reset?
