I use Apple Music because it’s bundled with iCloud storage. But there’s also Spotify, Pandora, and probably several others.
As far as connectivity, you can use CarPlay, android auto, Bluetooth, or just an auxiliary cable.
I've had SiriusXM in my last 3 cars. I did the trial once and never really had a desire to use it after that. I pay for Apple Music and that's plenty of entertainment for me.
As for Honda? It might be they either don't want to deal with that or SXM isn't paying them enough.
Do you have heavy snow and ice where you are? Would that be a concern when buying tires? Would you ever have any chance of going off road?
I'm in south Texas so I can't really speak about snow and ice but if you're doing just local and some highway, I'd look for a decent brand one that has...
Normal.
I haven't come across anything to use slippery in yet. I use sand at the beach, mostly if the sand is really loose. If it's hard/compact I just leave it in normal.
Have y'all seen the 2026 Passport? Especially the TrailSport trim? It's a little tempting, especially coming from Honda to Ford.
I do love my BS, though. For my next vehicle, it may be a BS BL, Bronco, or the Passport...
Who did your alignment? Sam's?
And I appreciate the write up. I'll probably need to replace my OE tires in the next 6 months so I'm starting to do some research. These and BFG Trail Terrains are on the list. Maybe Firestone Destination AT2, mostly because there's a Firestone 5 minutes from...
Warranty is covering it but yes, the front works fine. I do not hear anything when I pull it for the rear.
The lady that called to tell me seemed a little off. For the low coolant, she said it was my a/c condenser. I asked what that had to do with coolant and she said it's hard to read but...
I dropped mine off and picked it up from Ford.
I had a few issues I wanted them to look at. The weather stripping on the rear passenger door near the wheel well, losing coolant, rattling in the rear (flex between muffler and pipe), and rear washer squirter wasn't working.
All parts on back...
Do they fit without any modifications (other than moving the floor to the upper level)?
I'm really leaning towards the Trail Terrains. I do mostly pavement driving but I'd like to take it to the beach or some trails. There's not much where I live in Texas (other than beach) so it's something...
Mine stopped working also around the time we had some freezing temperatures in Texas.
I took it to Ford today and they said I'll need a new pump. It's on backorder.
So it looks like the speed difference might not be that big of an issue.
My next concern is making sure I can fit a full size spare in the back with little to no modifications. Is it just a matter of moving the floor to the upper level? I think I remember a difference between the standard and...
I'm probably going to need new tires in the next 6 months. I know I can get 245s but I'm really leaning more towards 225s just to keep the original specs.
Since Ford also offers 23565/R17 as an option on some trims, will the speedometer be off? Or would it be easily adjusted?
Maybe that's why they're a little more consumer friendly. They tell Ford it needs a transmission fluid change and the plan pays for it. Maybe they can't say they do that over the phone or to a consumer before they bought it but they take care of them after they're a paying customer.
OP... it's interesting to see how liberal they are with the service. I was about to purchase the maintenance plan and talked to a couple of dealers about it. They explained to me that for everything but oil, they inspect the item and only replace it if it's needed.
So while the manual...
Definitely try a different dealership. Hopefully they can get it figured out. I'd also reach out to Ford corporate about your back seat issues. Handing you a rag is a trash way to take care of customers, especially someone that spent $30,000 on your product.
I'm sure they'll still look at these forums but won't have someone actively commenting.
I did think it was pretty neat when Ford would comment on my pictures. Made me feel special.
How did you figure a year or two?
I did 380,000 divided by 365 days to get 1041 years at one start/day. Then I divided that by 20 starts/day and got 52 years. That's assuming driving every day and starting 20 times. I think on my way to and from work, in the city, it stops/starts maybe 8...
