My guess is exposure to elements plus off roading.
As for tire warranty how do I find that out. These are the tires that came with vehicle during purchase in 2023. Dealership wasn’t helpful in finding out about manufacture warranty
Tire place said they’ll inspect the rest. I’ll check last ford visit to see what tread depth was since it was recent. Looking up tires and they warned about awd depth difference. First time I’ve heard of that so thanks.
Sidewalk cracking in my rear tire and it can’t hold pressure. They have 19.6k miles so probably have to buy a pair. Not sure it’s worth getting all 4 new ones.
Curious what others would do in this situation?
I have the Falken Wikdpeaks that came when purchased for reference.
Yeah I knew we’d have enough for out and back but still. A full tank would have been reassuring. There’s some other roads to explore and it would be necessary to have a full tank before trying that.
Interstate 17 does have some steep grades. In fact the truck was just passed a runaway truck gravel exit. Some other truckers said he was riding his brakes too much. When heading south you are doing a net decrease in elevation. . If the fire had happened just a few hundred feet further we could...
Thanks!
I wanted to give a good description of trip as there are so many warnings online. Part of me gets it, they don’t want rental cars going there. I would especially avoid driving that road right after rain as it can be quite heavy. If a person is not comfortable or experienced driving...
Once we bought a Bronco Sport, it made a trip out to Toroweap even more attainable. I had been wanting to go since 2007 when I had visited the Southwest for the first time. After a year of ownership, it was time to make the trip. Everywhere you read about the road, it is described as extremely...
Right now, I'd go another Badlands. If another vehicle I would look at the Toyota 4Runner and would have to compare off-roading capabilities and inside space. I think the 4Runner has more back space and with growing kids that may be needed. I do love our sport though.
thanks for posting this. I've been wanting to go to Big Bend since I've moved to Arizona. Not sure if I can bring the whole family so may not be possible during the holidays.
After moving to Phoenix my commute reduced to about 70 minutes total, so ~1/3 the time plus I didn’t have to work as long so my quality of life improved.
