To replace an existing front bumper alone is between $900.00 and $1600.00. I don't think I'd bother with the rear--but IF it's possible the front is tempting, and say costs comparable along the order of 2K or less.

Has anyone taken a moment to see if the updated front end from the '25 Sasquatch is backward compatible to BSBL's? It's clearly an attempt to improve the original lower front bumper which I think more than a few of us have discovered is vulnerable even when not doing something foolish.
It’s my understanding that First Edition’s had a grab placed where you’re describing. I too have wished one had been included either there or on the A pillar. It’s worth noting that our Subaru Forester has one, and it’s handy to have especially when hopping out in mud or uneven terrain.
I find myself getting offroad more often and I'm starting to feel that my BSBL needs some additional or improved armor for its sensitive bits-- what are the consensus "must dos"?
I think this might be a good place to ask this question. We all should know our maximum weight for towing. What's the maximum weight (force) allowed on the OEM Class II hitch for recovery? (with a shackle hitch in place)
So at a Bronco Nation meet-up we were chatting about features we'd like to see on BS-BL's. I was complaining about the lack of a driver position grip for entry/exit. Turns out that it WAS on the BS 1st Edition, but swiftly deleted. I'd like to point out to the cost-cutters at Ford that it's...
After more than a year of ownership, I decided to use the intelligent/adaptive cruise control system in morning traffic in Chicago. I 290 inbound to downtown from the 'burbs. It's a total gamechanger. I set the initial speed with traffic flow and then ratcheted up. Braking was a little...
UPDATE: I had body fasteners on hand (purchased in a kit for a different reason) found the right size, replaced failed fasteners and have had no problems since.
There is a small black trim plate between the rear hatch and roof. I assume it's there to help keep water out of the electronics in the hatch. The problem is that EVERY time I run the BSBL through a car wash the plate comes loose. Has anyone else experienced this? Dealer reseated it at the 10K...
The TPMS display constantly shows the tire that is currently in rear left position to be about 3 psi lower that the other 3 tires--despite being filled from the same compressor/regulator set to the same psi. I'm guessing that means it's base level calibration is "off" vs the other three sensors...
So I took a moment to prep for the season. I'll need these for Silver Lake dunes in Mears, Michigan. Anyone have other more or less local suggestions to keep my BS BL from spending 100% of the time on pavement?
Just adding my "two cents". I've got a BS BL (2.0L) with just over 4K on it. My driving is a mix of urban/suburban in the Chicago area. The best average mileage I've been able to squeak out is right about 25mpg using premium gas with mostly "normal" mode, and one or two passengers. I do use...
As of this note there have been two activations of the Brake Assist Warning, and one of a proximity (blind spot) alert that seem to have been errant in the last two days. I've driven my BS BL with 360+ for 3444 mi with no previous alerts--and haven't changed the settings since I adjusted them...
