Sunshade is broken at 7K miles

That depends strictly on the dealer. I'd venture that you would have to at least leave your car with them for a while so a tech can do the proper documenation on OASIS. I wish dealers were more flexible with warranty claims, but they usually are not.

    Installed Vortex V2 Side Stripes

I appreciate that. I've done small vinyl pieces, but nothing as big as this. But like you say, its all about careful planning, correct techniques, ample water solution, and a whole heck of patience. I'll drop you a DM if I ever do pick them up. Thanks!

    Installed Vortex V2 Side Stripes

Awesome! I've been hemming and hawing as to whether to add a rocker stripe, and I had been looking at the ones from Vortex. I liked this one and the "digital fade". Did you install yourself?

    Second Catalytic Converter?

Yep. This describes all cats. So my followup would be 'what is it about the secondary cat that makes it so effective without getting up to temp? Typically? Typically, this is both done in one cat. Basic cat operation. Does not help me with the reasoning to break something into multiple...

    Second Catalytic Converter?

Maybe "very common" is a bit strong. But I agree that I shouldn't have been as flabberglasted as I was. Been trying to read up since yesterday as the reasoning behind it, and its a bit vague. All I've really been able to turn up is 'better emissions control'. But seeing as how these pieces...

Part # for Bronco Sport 2.0L Water Pump

Thanks for the info. It is strange. Im a lurker on the Maverick forums also, and haven't seen any water pump complaints. I'll make sure to keep my eyes peeled from now on.

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

Any exhaust work ALMOST necessitates the use of a lift. It just helps to get as much clearance as possible underneath. Getting underneath a vehicle is very key to helping understand it. I'm loathe to do it on jackstands. Getting too old. I'll change my oil, and try to snoop around a bit, but...

    Second Catalytic Converter?

Come to learn on another thread, that these 2.0s have 2 cats?? One 'smallish' one on the downpipe, where I imagine the O2 sensor is plugged in and reading the EFR? And a larger one right after, that looks like it does the majority of the scrubbing? Can someone elaborate why they chose this...

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

Consider me baffled. I'm going to have to take a deeper look when I have a moment to do so. Emissions must be a MF'er nowadays is my gut feeling on it now.

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

Finally!! Thank you. Interesting. Yep. They added something. And it seems to be a "second cat". I'm definitely going to have to research this a little further. This is different than my Mustang and the Fusions.

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

I'm not reading through anything man. I have been underneath enough Ford's and have changed out enough downpipes to know how to count catalytic converters. Granted, I have yet to carefully "examine" the downpipe when I've been changing the oil to see if they have recently added a second cat for...

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

You googled a question that came up with a response on this forum. There is only ONE catalytic converter on these vehicles.

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

Dude, there is no such thing as a "primary cat', and a 'secondary cat' on any of the Ford 4 cylinder or 3 cylinder engines. There is ONE catalytic converter, and you are correct, it is on the downpipe off the turbo. But that's it. The next thing in-line would be the resonator. After that, its...

Cat guard (prevent catalytic converter theft) and sliders skid plates installed

Sir, there is only ONE catalytic converter per Bronco Sport. If you are referring to the mid-pipe piece, that would be the resonator.

    21' Badlands check engine light (codes 0456 & 0496)

lol. I didn't know you were Mark's 'hype-man'. I posted the table in my previous post. I've owned Ford's too. If you've been following along to the rest of this thread, you should also know that I've replaced my EVAP purge valve TWICE on m Mustang. The first time it was on Ford's dime. Now, I...

    21' Badlands check engine light (codes 0456 & 0496)

The EVAP valve I suppose is considered a DEFECT warranty, which has the superceding disclaimer. The PERFORMANCE warranty does not have the same superceding disclaimer about the factory bumper to bumper
