XBB power unit and high beam

Looks interesting. I have been wanting to integrate lights that can be programmed to come on with the high beams and the auto-high beams, but interrupt that circuit if necessary with a switch for manual control. I wouldn't want a cop to see the auto-high beams with A Pillar Lights as well :cwl:

    Tire pressure monitoring

I think its relative to a few PSI. Since the sport is programmed for a specific PSI. I've had it go off a few times in the winter around 28 PSI.

    Tire pressure monitoring

You go to the "Vehicle Information" screen that shows the Bronco Sport then press the 3 lines button. You then can select Tire Pressure, Engine AutoStart/Stop Status, Oil Life, Etc.

Stop order on moaning brakes TSB

Depends on how Ford classifies brakes. Some will classify brakes as power train, in which case the Ford Power train warranty is 5y/60k. I would also talk to the manager at the dealership and see if I special case can be made considering the circumstances.

    Water Pump/reminder

They have a new TSB out that directs them to flush the coolant system. Apparently left over gunk can compromise the seal on the new water pump. Hopefully the updated fix is the last one. I just got the new water pump and coolant flush, so we'll see if it holds up.

Feedback on Falken, MT, and Nitto requested

I run the Baja Boss tires. I really like them a lot and have no true complaints. I have had no real issues and I will buy again mainly for the look of the tire. I think it looks better than all the competition and it would have to absolutely suck for me to not purchase the tire again as I do...

Update on the 1.5L drain hose recall from NHTSA.

Interesting. I had the recall done after this announcement. I suspect I will have to go in again for new injectors when the time comes.

How is the drone? 1.5 or 2.0?

Ford Bronco Sport Extended Warranty at $25 over Cost!- PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE!!

Is there a link that goes over the differences in coverages? Basic vs. Extra vs. Premium? Edit: nevermind. I just learned how to use a scroll wheel

    Fan Only (Outside Air)

I've tried fiddling with this as I used the option on my previous cars to simply blow outside air in. I do not think it is an option on this vehicle. It either uses heat or A/C to maintain whatever temperature you select. "LO" just sets the A/C to the lowest temperature setting.

TSB 22-2326 : "Moan Noise in the Rear Brakes When Driven in Reverse in Cold Weather or High Humidity"

That is what I am getting at. Rotors getting wet are a pretty common occurrence, so, to me, it looks it comes down to materials choice. Either for the rotors, or the friction material in the pads. That then brings me back to the original point of how is it not figured out yet? Barring some...

TSB 22-2326 : "Moan Noise in the Rear Brakes When Driven in Reverse in Cold Weather or High Humidity"

It is very peculiar indeed. Combined with the fact that it's a fleeting sound and doesn't repeat after the initial reversing, you would think it would be a bit easier to isolate the problem. Seems to be related to humidity and air temperature as it happens in cold dry air, but also if it's hot...

2' Lift- Is it Worth it in the Long Run

After further investigation, it looks the kits are the same. Usually 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear to level the ride height. You should be fine if properly installed. I don't think there is enough data on long term durability given the relative age of the vehicle and the product, so you...

2' Lift- Is it Worth it in the Long Run

Is it a true 2" lift? I have seen the 1.5" and the 3"+ lifts. Generally, anything over the 1.5" would require modifications to the CV with additional kits due to angle the CV will be under after a lift. A lot of the kinks have been worked out from the original 1.5" kit and a lot of users respond...

TSB 22-2326 : "Moan Noise in the Rear Brakes When Driven in Reverse in Cold Weather or High Humidity"

Update It got chilly overnight so it was prime time to test the brake fix- Nope. Sounded exactly the same this morning. Probably not worth taking it back at this point until Ford figures out the issue more. Has anyone had success replacing the entire rear brake assembly with aftermarket? I would...

New oil drain plug is available -- Ronin oil drain plug

Looks like a quick-release mechanism to easily drain the oil without mess. I would also assume since the other is plastic, there is concern about long-term longevity and health of the threads. Although, you could likely damage the plastic oil pan if you are a klutz with the new plug or go to...

This USB device is not supported. Please remove.

I have not since I don't have another one to try. I vaguely remember maybe using a different cable at first, so I might be using a cable without data transfer as @Rogerthat898 mentioned. I'll have to try another cable first as well.

I don't get this message, but I can pretty much never get android auto to work. It worked when I first set it up, but now nothing. My phone tells me use a different USB plug, but none work. Either the Type C or the Type A ports.
