I agree, just opening the hood alone and surveying the engine, is like opening an ancient Pharaoh's tomb and unleashing a curse. Nothing comes easy. After reading threads about working out lift kit complications and over stock sized tire rubbing. I think I'll remain stock. I just like the way my BS base rides and handles too much to change things.
Nice, where did you got the light brackets? Can you take more closer pic? My BS BL comes with the radar in that area but maybe that size will be enough without interfere with it.My 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Base Mods so far.

you went with the 245 versus the 225 for better grip? Discount Tire doesn't want to install those on my stock rims for some reason. Here is my 21 Bronco Sport. 245/65/17 Falken Wildpeak ATW3s. 17" KMC KM721s. No lift. No scrubbing at all. This is definitely the best tire size on stock height. Wheel offset is key though. We tried to put these tires on -12 offset and 0 offset wheels and no luck. Factory wheels or +35 (or higher) aftermarket wheels allow for this size tire.
I tried clicking on your profile but didn't find the vent thread. Can you please tell us how you got the side light vents?Click on my profile pic and it will take you to the threads vent lights, there are pictures there.

Used a lightning kit called EZLINK, sold at Walmart, the light strips can be cut to size, every three LED there's a scissor mark. It has a control module to change colors and do all sorts of things. Next, I popped the door vents out, a long handled curved needle nose plyers will prove invaluable for releasing the clips that hold the vent in place, there are three clips, without those needle nosed curved plyers, I didn't see a way of popping that vent out without damaging something. and you have the door ajar and work from the inside of the door to get to the clips, use the mirror to find the clips, good luck, space is very cramped and this 67 year old body was not a happy camper. I haven't bent and twisted like that in years. Once the vents are out, drill a series of holes at the upper corner of the vent, and use a set of fine files to shape the hole into a slot that will allow the light strip to pass through. I know is a new vehicle and is nerve wracking to go drilling into it. Work slowly as if you're defusing a bomb, mistakes here will be highly visible. I was nauseated with a feeling of impending doom throughout the whole thing, as popping the hood on these Broncos is like braking into a cursed Pharaohs tomb, and unleashing all kinds of hell. Clean with alcohol the surface where the strip will be glued to. In addition to the light strip's adhesive, I also added superglue for additional strength. Then sealed the slot from the back with liquid tape. Also put a dab of liquid tape on the LED's that won't be visible to avoid unwanted glare and reflections. The rest is just a matter of choice, finding a power source, I spliced into the left fender marker and the light comes on whenever the automatic headlamps come on. I personally would prefer they stay on as long as the vehicle is on, but that's a project for another occasion. I'm wore out mentally and physically. I will order spare vents and probably re-do this project. When I did it, I didn't realize there are kits with remote control. Right now, the control unit to change colors and do other things, is in the engine compartment. I would have to do lots of cutting and splicing to get that control unit in the cab. But with the remote control one, no need to run anything inside the cab. Essential tools and extension cables, there are two per box, you will need three to reach the passenger side of the vehicle, and one for the driver's side. Hope this helps.I clicked on all 22 of your messages with no luck I didn't see any threads you started and I am still stuck. Any chance you could tell us?
HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!! I was thinking it was a pre-made vent that you bought online and it snapped into place. This was 100 times more effort and 100 times more impressive! Thank you for the detailed explanation and pictures! Your Bronco looks great!Picture 12 shows a vent next to a light strip, this particular LED strip was too thin and fragile and did not stand up to the test, it failed at the point of entrance into the vent and split. use the thicker strips that come with the EZLINK kit.
LOL. There isn't very many aftermarket accessories made for the Bronco Sport yet. I dreaded having to drill into my brand new vehicle.HOLY SMOKES!!!!!!! I was wondering about doing this. I like that ideaI just recently installed the Falken Wildpeak AT/3W on my BB but I stayed with 225/65R17 on my stock rims. I will have the grab that I need and speedo stays the same. Just saying.
There are aftermarket versions available now on Amazon that IIRC are far less expensive and much easier than doing this.I was wondering about doing this. I like that idea
