I have had my 2023 BL for 6 months and braking is so sensitive that when applying the brakes they grab hard. My previous vehicle 2015 Escape braking was smooth. I feel like I'm going to be ejected. I mean barely apply the brakes and your almost thrown forward.
Is this normal for the bronco?

I thought that my brakes were a little grabby but I just started using a lighter touch on the brake pedals. I have about 1,800 miles on it now and do not notice a problem.

They are touchy. Have someone else drive it and see what they think. I’ve had to make adjustments via constant conscious effort.

My 22 Expedition is even more sensitive.

They are aggressive. I'm venturing that it is due to the brake pad compound they used to get the performance up to snuff if the brake booster fails. Cheers!

Good afternoon! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer so I can look into this brake concern. Thank you!

Brakes will grab if brake fluid leaks on them. Check for leaking brake cylinders and brake fluid level.

The pads that I'm sure my dealership just slapped on the old rotors for the recall suck. I feel like braking distance increased immediately after, and brake dust was almost never noticeable, and after wheels are black in 3 days. Also loudly hum while applying brakes in reverse. Dealership put some shims or something on the pads but that's all, still hum.

Anyways, I guess my point is you're lucky if your brakes grab.

My wife doesn't mind or seem to notice, but it drives me nuts. When these are spent in getting new rotors and pads and doing a complete fluid flush. Keep forgetting to look if the 1.5l uses DOT3 or 4

I've found the opposite. The brakes require considerably more pedal travel and pedal pressure than my '17 Escape, and no tendency to grab.
