That red Bronco on the back looks so much better matching the front.

How many months was your loan?

Always wanted to used a credit union but they require memberships? Im not super familiar with credit unions and how they work.
Basically a Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial co-operative. How does it differ from a Bank? A bank is typically owned by share holders and while they work to serve customers, they also have an obligation to make money from their customers to pay to their shareholders. A Credit Union is owned by its customers. Most will require you to live within a certain distance from a branch location or work for select employer groups and will require you to open a small savings, like $5 or $25 to represent your share of ownership the credit union. Since they do not have to pay shareholders profits, they can use that savings for lower fees and offer better rates. Full disclosure, I have worked as a banker/loan officer for a credit union in Wisconsin for 30 years.

Picked up the limited last night. I have to say for being the same vehicle we were coming from it really feels "upgraded".

I prefer leather seats over cloth simply for cleaning purposes. We have dogs and seeing all the hair on the seats in the BB drove me nuts, with the leather it can simply be vacuumed or brushed away.(dogs ride in a carrier but some how the hair floats every where  )
The HEL is based off the badlands which means no carpet which is also a plus for the reasons stated above.

Going from the BB to the HEL back to back driving i was very surprised how much smoother the HEL is. The ride and the engine seem much quieter and smoother then the BB. There were times with the BB i thought the engine was missing and running rough which iv read is just a characteristic of the 1.5. When i told my wife about the 1.5 vs 2.0 arguments she simply gave a eye roll and as if to say whatever the 1.5 is fine. But even she admitted how much of a improvement the 2.0 seemed. If the HEL fell though for any reason i would definitely go for a badlands simply for the 2.0. That being said i would not hesitate to buy a sport with the 1.5 if that was the options provided to me based on finances or needing something sooner then later.

I checked all the boxes Tigger. There are local dealers selling stripped down versions with no options for more than I paid for this one. And some sucker is going to pay for it. (STUPIDO)

My daughter and I fly up to pick it up next weekend. We will have a nice long drive home. I should definitely have some highway feedback for you. I’m really curious what my daughter thinks. It’s going to be hers.
Did you go and pick yours up yet?

I did, I did. We flew up yesterday and picked it up. Drove home and pulled into the driveway at 11:30pm last night. The dealership picked us up at the airport and I think it was a little over an hour to the dealership. We were there less than 30 minutes. Seriously in and out. It took us 11 hours with stops. Not too bad. Car is great. Daughter loves it. My husband said it looks better in person. He took it to get it inspected this morning (so I can register it) and said it’s rather peppy. He likes it too. I think I did well. ?

For over 30 years of marriage my wife has always had the nicer vehicle and I had one I liked. It worked out well as I rarely put more than 3,000 to 4,000 miles on in a year as we always drove hers when we traveled together. And that’s how it is supposed to work now as she has a decked out RAV4 Hybrid that gets good gas mileage, especially in the city. But we have been driving the HLE as she really likes riding in it and she knows I like driving it. At this rate, I will be getting over 8,000 miles/year and I have never come close to that.

Ha, ha, ha. I’ve had my 2022 BL since April 6, 2022. I have over 13,000 miles on it at almost 11 months. By it’s first birthday, it will have 15,000. I’ve never put this many miles on a vehicle, but it’s a joy to drive.

Would you mind posting a photo of the front at night? I’m curious what the white grill looks like at night with the lights on! Thanks!

Here are a few pics. I’m no photographer, so sorry!

I like the red lettering on the front better than the white on the back
