Hi,
I took part of an off-road driving clinic at Rey Park (at Pilar, Buenos Aires, Argentina). It was a whole day of enjoyment and a great learning experience. I can confirm that the BS Wildtrack (a.k.a Badlands) is a really wild beast and very capable. My only concern is with clearance!! Just 2 inches more height and it will be perfect!!!
Most of the time I used Rock Crawl mode in order to have all the locks engaged and the lowest gear possible. It could manage every obstacle with no effort... just a couple of "hungs" due to the insufficient clearance. You can also hear many of the bumps in the lower part during the video.
I tested Trial Control a couple of times: one descending the first hill and another time during the field trail and found it very useful.
I planned to try the "left foot on brake and right foot on throttle" technique to see how it worked out, but forgot to do it... next time! Using just one foot to control both pedals makes the truck to jump at the end of the obstacle, the idea is to dosify the power using both pedals at the same time (similar to what the Trail Control does automatically)
So, without further ado enjoy and, please, comment the video
