Really nice shot. Unfortunately the pics just don’t really show it. It’s even more pronounced than an image shows.

I’m riding on the HRG lift and 65s. I didn’t want to deal with the tire rubs. I got to just a tad over 10in after all was said and done.

I would go for the fender flares next. At least where I am there are lots of rocks and it helped a lot with that. Not to mention it just does something nice to the look IMO. Makes it look a bit more aggressive.

enjoy!!! I know I do.

Thanks! Right, the difference is most noticeable when you pull up next to another truck.

The nudge bar will be the next thing as it is sitting in my garage currently.

I'm not a fan of the shiny bolt fenders that I see most frequently. There is another style that looks pretty good (like just a larger version of stock) ...but I think that will come after new wheels.

I may go with a (minor) positive offset wheel and then get the fenders.

Looks great. Do the 70s rub anywhere else besides the pinch weld in the front or do they rub in back too? I have 65s with no issues, same tires. Also, is the lift something you can do easily in a weekend? How's the ride quality? I'm worried about rollover.

CyberSchoolBusNJ: Thanks for the share, the wheels/tires and lift look awesome.

Team I'm kinda new to this, I've never really modified cars and don't know alot about them, but I'm a fast study...

I've ordered a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands and am hoping it is here around November/December. I'm excited about getting into some light offroading.

I definitely want the HRG Lift.

Additionally, I really wanted black wheels/rims, and that wasn't an option, so (thanks in part to this thread and others on this site). Someone referenced Tirerack, and I found some Ultra Warmonger CUV Rims that look good (https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Ford&autoModel=Bronco+Sport&autoYear=2022&autoModClar=Badlands&package=false), tirerack says they are fine for the Bronco Sport Badlands.

For tires, I plan on using the 235/65 R17's that come with the vehicle I ordered (which I think are Falken), but when I'm ready to switch, I was eyeing the Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 sized at LT225/65R17 107/103Q (https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=Geolandar+M/T+G003&partnum=265QR7G003&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes)

I don't think I'm ready to go to anything with 70.

My questions are: 1. Did I miss something, is this a dumb idea...
For example, I don't understand the Rim offset well, but I don't see a problem.

2. What does this tire give up compared to the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 at LT245/65R17 111/108S (https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T/A+KO2&partnum=465SR7KO2RWL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes), which I believe is the 65 variant that Feint uses.

I get they are slightly thinner by 20 mm, roughly 1.5 Thumb widths on each side, and that can impact its ability to traverse moist/soft ground, , which if I'm right could be offset to an extent by deflating the tire (though I get you would do the same on the 245). I don't know that I understand the load index implications.

Would both tires fit on the rim/wheels I like? What are your suggestions?

@RogueRodney ,

The tire sizes you list will fit on the wheels you selected from TireRack. I don’t know the exact cutoff on tire sizes on wheel widths, but for sure there are people here that have put on widths from 225 to 255 on the same width wheel.

As for offset, the Ultra wheel has a 3mm less offset. Which means the face of the wheel will be 3mm closer to the fender edge. That should not be an issue. I feel like the wheels on the BS should be pushed out a little further than they are stock, by probably close to 1” (25mm).

The other thing that you have to keep in mind with the different tire widths is that the smaller widths are also smaller in diameter. You can get a better idea of how all this works by looking at tiresize.com to see what each of size change does overall.

That is a 31.75" diameter and we know that 29.5" diameter is the safe limit. If you only mall crawl then that tire will be fine.
