The 2021 Ford Bronco has been officially teased in new renderings issued by Ford Motor Company today!
The boxy silhouette of the next Bronco is shown underneath a mud-splashed cover of what appears to be a 2-door version with a rear-mounted spare tire.
Bronco hopefuls will be thrilled to hear that Ford President Jim Farley, confirmed that the upcoming Bronco will come in both 2 and 4 door variants in addition to offering a hybrid engine option — this of course implies that the 2021 Bronco will at the least have a traditional gasoline engine as the base model.
Ford’s commitment to off-road SUVs doesn’t end there — the company also announced a brand new off-road vehicle that will sit below the Bronco in the lineup.
“Ford helped start the off-road phenomenon and has majored in off-road capability for decades – from the Bronco to the Raptor,” said Jim Farley, Ford president, Global Markets. “Now, we’re ready to reclaim our rightful place as the off-road vehicle leader.”
